I’m celebrating Independence Day in Coronado, an “island” south of Downtown San Diego. For 74 years, their annual July 4th parade has made its way for down Orange Avenue, the main drag in town. . Military presence is strong here as North island is the birthplace of naval aviation and the city honors its veterans and those who are actively listed.
