Hi Everyone!

I’ve lived in Pasadena since 1989 in the same mid-century modern home. My husband Dave, my daughter Madeline, my son-in-law Ben and my son Nathan—plus their dogs are a huge part of my life and I’m grateful this house has hosted so many get togethers and provided a respite for family and friends. It’s especially provided a safe and peaceful haven for me.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. After multiple recurrences, I shut down my work as a professional photographer doing events, portraiture, and editorial work. After several years of difficult treatments and an existential struggle to reclaim my passion as a photographer, I evolved into a fine art photographer, specializing in macro floral photography. I shoot with the latest Nikon mirrorless camera using my two favorite macro prime lenses and digitally layer my images with painterly backgrounds to create color, grit and depth.

I’m still battling cancer but when I explore the beautiful gardens here in Pasadena, including my own garden, slow down and find my focus, all I see is light, color, composition and JOY!

Please shop my updated galleries that include new wall art images that can be printed on wood, metal and now fine art paper. I also feature greeting cards and a new collection of postcards!

Proceeds from the sale of my images go to the Dana Pepper Bouton Endowment Fund at City of Hope. The fund helps support families who’ve been financially strapped due to a cancer diagnosis. It pays for gas, transportation, childcare, food and even housing for those who need time off work to take care of a loved one. Remember, cancer doesn’t discriminate. People who have good insurance, work hard, and save money are still affected by a devastating diagnosis. It takes a toll on families and a mental, physical toll on patients.
