Greeting cards are here!
At long last, I’m happy to announce that my new line of greeting cards is on my website. Click here to go directly to the shop page. You’ll see three choices for card designs. There are three different messages on the back of each card, but the inside is blank for your message. See my designs below! There are more examples on the website as well.
The fold-over cards are sized 5.5x4.25” and sold in sets of 5 of the same design. They each come enclosed in a clear envelope that houses a beautiful textured mailing envelope, a circle label and a stamp! The card sets sell for $35.00 plus tax and a flat shipping rate of $1.60.
I handpicked the paper and it is a luscious smooth, slightly creamy thick card stock that is also 100% recycled and biodegradable.
This smooth surface will take any kind of writing instrument. My favorite is a fountain pen. I have about 5 of them. They are messy and they get clogged, but when they work, the ink flows effortlessly and I don’t have to press so hard like I would with a ball point pen. I love the ritual of writing cards to my loved ones.
Look, I know sending cards takes time. Texting a “thank you” or “I’m thinking of you” is easy.. But…sending a unique one-of-a kind card shows you’ve put some thought into letting people know you are truly thinking about them. And no need to make a separate trip for that stamp! It’s all right there for you!
And…most importantly…10% of the proceeds will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This will be my ongoing policy for all the greeting cards I sell on my website.
Besides myself, I’ve had four other family members get lymphoma. My friend’s daughter had leukemia as a child.
Tragically, several weeks ago, my own father died of lymphoma. It was excruciating to watch him suffer and decline in such a short period of time.
It’s a terrible disease and this organization has blazed trails to create incredible clinical trials for curing both lymphoma and leukemia.
For more information about what they do, check out their website here. This is the link to the Los Angeles chapter.
Thanks everyone for all your support!
